I received a strong WORD today. God telling me to behave and act accordingly and properly. It is a follow up to what I have read about what Saint Gemma Galgani’s guardian angel told her in behaving as a woman. More than that – to not be deceived. To live humbly and in submission according to His will and purpose for me.
1 Timothy 2:9-15 Amplified Bible (AMP)
9 Also [I desire] that women should adorn themselves modestly and appropriately and sensibly in seemly apparel, not with [elaborate] hair arrangement or gold or pearls or expensive clothing,
10 But by doing good deeds (deeds in themselves good and for the good and advantage of those contacted by them), as befits women who profess reverential fear for and devotion to God.
11 Let a woman learn in quietness, in entire submissiveness.
12 I allow no woman to teach or to have authority over men; she is to remain in quietness and keep silence [in religious assemblies].
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve;
14 And it was not Adam who was deceived, but [the] woman who was deceivedand deluded and fell into transgression.
15 Nevertheless [the sentence put upon women of pain in motherhood does not hinder their souls’ salvation, and] they will be saved [eternally] if they continue in faith and love and holiness with self-control, [saved indeed] [a]through the Childbearing or by the birth of the divine Child.

On Print

Light flashed
The shutter sound
A moment captured
Frozen on printSmiles plastered
Colors may fade
Just once gotten
Never the sameTo hold in hand
To pass around
Once it’s given
May never be foundThus is the story
Of a photo on print
Pressed the instax
Captured the scene©djklmnopi 12.02.14 17:37

Second-Guessing
I notice that look
I disregard it
I shake off the feeling
Of enjoying itI heard what she said
About you and me
Laugh off the thought
The meaning behind itAnd we go round and round in circles
Second-guessing ourselves
Thinking might be, hoping may be
Not truly wanting to dissuade ourselvesSometimes I feel like
You’re running away
Or maybe I’m haunted
By imaginary daysIs this avoidance
The fear of dismay
To fight off feelings
For prudence’s sakeAnd we go round and round in circles
Second-guessing ourselves
Thinking might be, hoping may be
Not truly wanting to dissuade ourselvesMaybe it’s time to simply let it go
Enjoy what comes and cry for moments gone
Been reading minds and stares and smiles
I’ve failed too many times don’t want to fail this timeAnd we go round and round in circles
Second-guessing ourselves
Thinking might be, hoping may be
Not truly wanting to dissuade ourselves©djklmnopi 11:53 12.01.14

YOLO, YODO and YoCaLiFo! :D
When you say YOLO, I hope you realize that YODO, too. You only live once, you only die once. I hope you reflect on that before you do reckless stuff. I hope you understand that time wasted, money spent and words spoken can never be taken back, and that the injuries you have caused yourself and other people may heal but scars don’t go away. I hope you see that for every action there is a reaction that reverts back to you – some call it karma, I’d like to think they’re consequences for our actions or failure to act, all the same. YOLO and YODO must not paralyze us or lead us to be reckless, it must make us prudent and discerning and make us see the things that truly matter in our lives: time – spend them well; people – love them well; things – use them well; talent – share them and bear fruits that will last; and life – we only have one with this body, let us live it well so as to earn the eternal one. Cos you know, there is a YOU CAN LIVE FOREVER (YoCaLiFo). It’s never too late to begin investing on eternity now.
Psalm 90:12
So teach us to number our days, that we may get us a heart of wisdom.Hebrew 9:27-28
And just as it is appointed for [all] men once to die, and after that the [certain] judgment, Even so it is that Christ, having been offered to take upon Himself and bear as a burden the sins of many once and once for all, will appear a second time, not to carry any burden of sin nor to deal with sin, but to bring to full salvation those who are [eagerly, constantly, and patiently] waiting for and expecting Him.Romans 6:23
For the wages which sin pays is death, but the [bountiful] free gift of God is eternal life through (in union with) Jesus Christ our Lord. -
What You Let Distracts You.
For the past 3 days, I’ve been repeatedly listening to Joyce Meyer’s ministry on podcast about this topic: Using Your Time Wisely. I know I needed a lot of guidance in that aspect of my life and I know I needed to do something about it. I listen to it again and again because I want to internalize every single lesson I am going to get from this ministry. True enough, our gracious God sent His help in the matter. Aside from the ministry, I am given today a strong Word about God’s visitation in my life. Just when the term ‘visitation’ resonated with me from that podcast ministry, I get a reading that warns me about what happen when I do not realize God’s visitation in my life.
What about visitation from the podcast ministry of Joyce Meyer?
The word visitation and the meaning and importance of it resounded to me only on the second day I listened to the ministry. It made so much impact on me that I pondered on it – what do I usually do when God distracts my routine, my plan? (more…)

Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread
How often have we knelt down and prayed for God to give us this and that, to grant us our desires and wishes? And how often have we judged God’s faithfulness base on whether He has given in to our desires and wishes? Do we ever realize that most of our prayers, if not all, revolve around asking God to do things for us and grant our wishes, like He is some genie under our command? It is good to realize that, and it is good to stop ourselves whenever we realize we are doing that. Praying with our flesh will lead us to pray for things to satisfy the flesh, but praying with the Spirit will lead us to converse and communicate with God and to pray for things that God desires for us.
Today, there is a prayer/sayings of Agur from the book of Proverbs that moved me.
“Two things I ask of you, Lord; do not refuse me before I die: Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, ‘Who is the Lord?’ Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God. ~ Proverbs 30:5-8
To ask God for what is needed for the day, enough for the day. More than that, I am moved by his awareness of his human nature – the frailty of our nature because of carnal desires. To have enough – no more, no less. Let us pray for our daily bread, DAILY – enough comfort, enough trials. And be led by the Spirit to ask God for His will, to work His will in to our hearts, to attain true peace and joy. (:

Hurt? Hope.
Whenever we are tired and hurt, our response often is to hide, to run away, to deny, to turn around, to be cast down. To feel hurt is okay, it makes us human, it evidently shows we have a heart and we can feel. It is good to feel – it is our check and balance in life. To feel tired, to feel offended, to feel hurt.
It is also good to know that every time we hurt, every time that we want to scream and ask ‘why?’, every time we feel there’s no way out and we’re pushed to the wall – it’s wonderful to know we have this hope, a real hope, the light at the end of the tunnel, we have God.
Jeremiah is one of the prophets I love reading about. Jeremiah lived through the horror of the exile and he saw God’s hand in the salvation of the Jews from exile. He saw how the people of Israel has disobeyed God and He saw God’s mercy towards them. He was a part of that twisted and disobedient generation yet He held firm to what he know about God. He is someone who knows God and therefore He understands God and He knows that no matter what, even when physically he’s tired and mentally he’s exhausted, Jeremiah still put his hope in the God he knows – the God of mercy and of love.
We may go through deep waters, we may be exhausted with life’s problems, (more…)
