Grace is everything Jesus. Grace lives because He does, works because He works, and matters because He matters. To be saved by grace is to be saved by Him, not by an idea, rule, or church membership, but by Jesus himself, who will sweep into Heaven anyone who so much as gives Him the nod. Not, mind you, in response to a finger snap, religious chant, or secret handshake. Grace won’t be stage-managed. It’s like Jesus himself: uncontainable, untamable.
Like a wild, whitewater kayak ride that is thrilling and scary and joyful. Grace isn’t merely an app to be acquired. It’s an adventure to be lived.

Pity and Love
I witnessed God this morning, along a major road in the metro. A guy helped an old man cross the big street. The old man has his one foot wrapped in cloths and a plastic. After crossing, the guy sat the old man by the bus stop then proceeded to get something from his backpack. He produced the crackers he had inside and gave it to the old man before going along his way.
It made my day, to see an angel, to witness Jesus in the metro, in the rush of cars and commuters, this scene was highlighted to me.
And I realize, we all feel pity. It’s our emotional response to situations we encounter wherein we find ourselves better off than the other. Pity, for me, is just that – an emotional response and often we leave it at that. It is LOVE that drives pity to do something other than feel sorry. It is Love that gives the push to act, to do something about it.
Thank You for this revelation. ❤️

More Than Conquerors
07.11.14 7:03
We have a battle, every day. It’s on, all the time – a battle against the flesh, against the evil of this world, against Satan.
Our weapon is mighty – if only we use it, if only we depend on it, if only we hang on to it. Our defense makes us more than conquerors, our Guide has went before us, the battle has been won yet in our weaknesses we fall back.
Let us hold on to Him, to His Word, to Jesus Christ, whose love has made us more than conquerors of the this world.
“The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged.” ~ Deuteronomy 31:8 (NIV)
“In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” ~ Romans 8:37 (NIV)
“The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” ~ 1 Corinthians 15:56-57 (NIV)
